Employees of Israeli high-tech companies including ironSource in Tel Aviv are getting the first taste of personalized plant-based dishes produced by Rehovot-based SavorEat on demand.

In partnership with the Yarzin-Sella catering company, SavorEat has placed its robotic chef in the corporate cafeterias of the high-tech sector. Workers at these companies tend to be early adopters of new technologies and frequently identify as flexitarian — eating mainly a plant-based diet.

“The company’s product is an innovative concept enabling the automatic and autonomous creation of meat alternatives without compromising on taste and quality,” said Racheli Vizman, SavorEat cofounder and CEO.

“Linking up with Yarzin-Sella is a natural and logical step forward. On the one hand, SavorEat will have access to target audiences who espouse and promote innovation, while on the other hand it will place Yarzin-Sella as the ambassador of such innovation in its businesses.”

Among Yarzin-Sella’s catering clients are the Israeli offices of Meta (Facebook), Google and Playtika.

Established in 2018, SavorEat developed a smart robot that grills up plant-based dishes resembling a beefburger, a turkey burger or a pork sausage. The smart machine can personalize many aspects of each serving according to the consumer’s preferences, untouched by human hands.

SavorEat, the first portfolio company of the Millennium Food-Tech R&D partnership, completed its IPO on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) last November.
