Students for Justice in Palestine

Jews are being arrested, while Jihadists and their allies gleefully rampage across the civilized world.

Here’s a story out of Concordia University in Montreal.

Today, Dean of Students Andrew Woodall notified Jewish students that the administration was not permitting them to set up a pro-Israel table on campus that would call for the release of Israeli hostages.

When student leaders challenged this antisemitic decision, Woodall said “we are doing this to protect you” from “radical groups.”

And that sort of thing is going around.

Here it is popping up in hockey.

The Olympic Committee of Israel received confirmation on Wednesday that the Israeli national ice hockey team will be allowed to take part in the ice hockey world championship in Bulgaria next week about a week after Israel Hayom first reported that the the sporting body said security concerns made it impossible for the Israelis’ to play.

South Africa, when it’s not aiding Hamas, is protecting a Jewish cricket team captain by removing him.

David Teeger, a rising star on South Africa’s cricket scene, has been removed as the country’s Under-19 team captain on the eve of the world championship competition.

Cricket South Africa cited threats to Teeger, who is Jewish, and the team over Israel’s war against Hamas ahead of the U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup, which South Africa is hosting.

“We have been advised that protests related to the war in Gaza can be anticipated at the venues for the tournament. We have also been advised that they are likely to focus on… David Teeger,” the organization said in a statement.

“CSA has decided that David should be relieved of the captaincy for the tournament,” Cricket South Africa added. “This is in the best interests of all the players, the SA U19 team, and David himself,” adding that there was a risk of “conflict or even violence.”

Pro-Israel protesters were removed by police “for their own protection” in Sydney, Australia, and London, England.

NSW Police has defended the removal of a protester waving an Israeli flag at a pro-Palestine rally on Monday, claiming it was for ‘his own safety’.

Around 1,000 protesters flocked to Sydney’s Town Hall on Monday evening for a Free Palestine rally in the wake of reignited violence between Palestine and Israel.

The rally kicked off with various chants including ‘Resistance is justified when Palestine is occupied’, ‘Israel, Israel you can’t hide you’re committing genocide’ and ‘from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.’

But police leapt into action when a man, who has since been identified as Sydney businessman Mark Spiro, was carrying an Israeli flag – which he had not even unfurled – before three police officers dragged him away.

In an video of the incident, filmed by Daily Mail Australia, Mr Spiro can be heard repeatedly saying ‘I’ve done nothing wrong’.

An officer told him: ‘You’ve been arrested in relation to a breach of the peace.’

On Tuesday morning, NSW Police Assistant Commissioner Tony Cooke defended the decision to arrest Mr Spiro, claiming his presence ‘could have caused significant risk to him and others’.

‘I understand his view… (but) it was necessary,’ Mr Cooke said. ‘In the circumstances the best option for us was to take the actions we did.’

Jews are being censored, suspended, and even arrested for “their own protection” while Jihadists and their allies gleefully rampage across the civilized world.
