Amid an ongoing scandal that has cost Kanye West billions in corporate partnership deals, the embattled celebrity was seen in Florida with a well-known antisemite named Nick Fuentes.

West and Fuentes were initially seen together on Tuesday at an airport in Miami, after which West tweeted about a meeting with Donald Trump in which the celebrity claimed he asked the former president to be his 2024 running mate.

According to both The Daily Beast and Politico, West and Fuentes were spotted together at Trump’s golf club, Mar-a-Lago. A source quoted by The Daily Beast said West had a meal with Trump on Tuesday, but Fuentes was not present.

Fuentes has a history of promoting antisemitic rhetoric and anti-Israel conspiracy theories. He denies the Holocaust, accuses Jews of killing Jesus, and claims Jews spread COVID-19, in addition to making racist statements about African-Americans.

Fuentes participated at the violent 2017 white supremacist “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, which attracted a large contingent of neo-Nazis, one of whom murdered a woman by driving his car into a group of protesters, injuring 35 people.

During the past several months, West has made multiple comments during interviews blaming “the Jews” both for his own personal problems and various societal ills, promoting the philosophy of the Black Israelite Hate Group, which accuses the Jewish community of being “fake Jews” who are responsible for the transatlantic slave trade.

West claimed on Instagram that producer Sean “Puffy” Combs is controlled by Jews and accused “Jewish Zionists” of smearing him during his divorce from Kim Kardashian.

West also accused Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law, of brokering Israel’s peace treaties with Arab countries (the Abraham Accords) just “to make money.”

Twitter suspended West’s account after vowing to his 31.4 million Twitter followers to “go death con 3 ON JEWISH PEOPLE,” but reinstated him after Elon Musk took the company over.

On Thursday, Business Insider reported, “This week, [West] said he was running for president again after a failed bid in 2020. On Tuesday night, he claimed that he had asked Trump to be his 2024 running mate. However, he has yet to file the basic paperwork to become a candidate — unlike Trump, who announced his 2024 bid on November 15.”

Business Insider added that West “has consistently been a Trump supporter,” because they both have “dragon energy.”
