In yet another gesture of kindness, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft treated relatives of young terror victim Ezra Schwartz to VIP seats at the Super Bowl.
Not for the first time, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft showed empathy and kindness to the family of Ezra Schwartz, an 18-year-old student who was killed by a Palestinian terrorist in November 2015 at the Gush Etzion junction in Judea. Schwartz, from Massachusetts, was an avid Patriots fan.
Mainstream media failed to cover the brutal murder. Kraft, a generous philanthropist, responded to the lack of reporting on the tragedy by issuing a moment of silence in tribute to Schwartz at a Patriots Monday Night Football game shortly afterwards. It was watched by 15 million viewers. He also made a condolence call to the Schwartz family the following night.
Kraft has not forgotten Ezra. As reported in Only Simchas, he invited Schwartz family members to join him at last week’s Super Bowl game. Ezra’s aunt, Rachel Deri, asked that Kraft’s kindness be publicized, praising the billionaire’s “mitzvahs (good deeds) and good heart.”
