Israel’s Security Agency released an overview of Palestinian terrorism that Israelis have dealt with on a near-daily basis for the past six months.
The Shin Bet (Israel’s Security Agency) on Monday published a summary report on the wave of Palestinian terrorist attacks which have been plaguing Israel for the past six months and which documents more than 230 terror attacks or attempted attacks.
The report underscored the fact that 47 percent of the terrorists were under the age of 20, 24 of them, 11 percent, were women, and 10 percent were minors. In total, 72 percent of the terrorists were under the age of 25.
The majority of the attacks, 74 percent occurred in Judea and Samaria, with 16 percent being carried out in Jerusalem and the rest at other locations across Israel.
Hebron served as the origin of the majority of the terrorists, 69 terrorists or 40 percent, with 25 percent coming from the Ramallah and Binyamin region and 12 percent coming from the Jenin area.
21 terrorists entered Israel illegally before carrying out their attacks, two terrorists had work permits when they carried out their attacks, and one Sudanese national was responsible for stabbing an IDF soldier in Ashkelon.
The wave of almost daily Palestinian terrorists attacks, mostly stabbings, but also shootings, bombings and car rammings, have claimed the lives of 30 victims and wounded over 300.
