Palestinian terror attack

In the third Palestinian terror attack on Tuesday, a terrorist wounded two Israelis by slamming his car into a crowd of civilians, before he was shot dead by IDF troops.

Two Israelis, one IDF soldier and one civilian, were wounded Tuesday afternoon by a Palestinian terrorist when he rammed his car into a bus stop at the Gush Etzion junction, south of Jerusalem.

The terrorist exited his car wielding a knife with intent to stab Israelis, and was shot and killed by Israeli security forces who were securing the junction against such attacks.

One Israeli victim was moderately wounded, while the second victim sustained lights injuries.

Both were treated at the scene by Israeli medics and then evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem.

The junction was the site of several terror attacks at the end of 2014.

Earlier on, Avraham Asher Chasno, 54, was ambushed by rock-throwing Palestinian terrorists. When he stopped at the side of the road and exited his car, he was killed by a Palestinian driving a truck.

Before that, a Palestinian terrorist stabbed and lightly wounded an IDF officer near the Palestinian village of Beit Awa in the Hebron region. The terrorist was shot and killed.

This attack is the latest in a wave of Palestinian violence against Israeli civilians, which began on September 14th, and has been ongoing since.

Israeli casualties include ten murdered and 78 injured in 44 terror attacks in the past month.

The terror attacks include 35 stabbings, four shootings and four vehicular attacks.
