As grounds for cancelling the show, Frankfurt cited Roger Waters’ antisemitic imagery in concert, which includes an inflatable pig with a Star of David.
“The German city of Frankfurt announced on Friday the cancellation of a May 28 concert by former Pink Floyd member Roger Waters, citing his reputation as ‘one of the world’s best-known antisemites,’” reported JNS,org.
Waters has a lengthy history of antisemitic provocations, falsely accusing Israel of any number of crimes.
Waters’ former Pink Floyd bandmate David Gilmour recently agreed with Waters’ characterization as a Jew-hater, in addition to accusing him of being a plagiarist and a lip-syncer.
