This unique pre-army program provides exciting adventures and bonding experiences that bring together Israeli teens from different backgrounds.

An Israeli program called Meitarim Lachish unites Israeli teens from diverse backgrounds during their gap year before the army. This includes helping youth with disabilities bond with other young Israelis prior to the latter’s IDF service.

One of the adventures on which participants can embark involves a 37-mile hike to Jerusalem, which the disabled youth enjoy via the teamwork of their fellow participants.
