“Now imagine that you care more about terrorizing someone else’s children than protecting your own children. That’s exactly the Hamas leaders in Gaza – today and every day,” the IDF tweeted.

The IDF neutralized over 100 explosives thrown by terrorists rioting at the Gaza border on Friday, the army said.

Over 20,000 Palestinians gathered at five locations along Gaza’s border with Israel in response to calls by Hamas, the terrorist group that rules the Strip. They burned dozens of tires, using the thick black smoke as a screen to throw rocks and explosives toward Israeli troops stationed on the opposite side of the fence.

IDF soldiers responded with tear gas and gunfire, resulting in at least seven deaths and 90 wounded. Two of the dead were children, aged 12 and 14, the Gaza Health Ministry said.

The next day, the IDF posted photos of bombs and other explosive material found in Israeli territory.
