A human rights attorney explains why Kerry’s speech provoked “disgust” among both Republicans and Democrats.

Secretary of State John Kerry’s speech last week, defending the US abstention from an anti-Israel UN resolution, has sparked strong opposition from many congressional Democrats.

Lawfare Project director and human rights attorney Brooke Goldstein debates the issue with Larry Korb, senior fellow at the Center for American Progress, a left-leaning think tank.

Goldstein discusses the “non-partisan disgust” at Kerry’s push for a Jew-free Islamic state, calling it apartheid, racist, segregationist, and downright un-American.

She also points to historical revisionism concerning the history of the region, explaining what the term “Palestine” really means.
