Before Israeli Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein began his speech at the UN, Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani decided to walk out.

Edelstein gave an impassioned speech about peace and cooperation at the UN, inviting the representatives of Arab countries to come and visit Israel.

Unfortunately, before the speech even began, Iran’s speaker was already preparing to leave in an attempt to make a statement.

Edelstein spoke to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon later about his concerns with the Iran deal.

The US Congress must ensure that sanctions against Iran remain in force until the nuclear threat is completely eliminated.

I strongly oppose easing sanctions before the nuclear threat from Iran has been eliminated. Allowing Iran to enrich uranium without being subject to 'anytime, anywhere' inspections is extremely dangerous and unacceptable. Iran's nuclear program must be stopped.
