Iranians in Toronto celebrate Israel’s military strike in Lebanon on Friday that killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
As they danced and handed out cakes, Iranians held up signs that said things like “We Reject Iran’s 1979 Revolt.”
In 1979, Iran was overtaken by Islamic fundamentalists that restricted civilian rights and viewed Israel and the US as its primary enemies.
