The tourism industry has been one of the hardest industries hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, and now a new deal between Israel and Greece may help bring the sector back to life.
On Tuesday, Prime Ministers Benjamin Netanyahu and Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced a mutual tourist agreement that would enable vaccinated people to travel between Israel and Greece without any testing or quarantine requirements.
It is not clear yet when the deal will come into effect, however, this is wonderful news for the tourism industry, which has suffered tremendously from the pandemic.
Mitsotakis also congratulated the Jewish state for its speedy vaccination program.
