Jewish fans sat in the front row of a Brooklyn Nets game with ‘Fight Antisemitism’ t-shirts to protest NBA star Kyrie Irving’s promotion of an antisemitic film.
Last week, NBA star Kyrie Irving tweeted an Amazon link to a 2018 documentary called “Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America.”
The film, which is based on a book of the same name, is based on the ideology of the antisemitic Black Hebrew Israelite movement.
Amid backlash, instead of taking down and apologizing for the tweet, Irving doubled down on support for the film.
Jewish fans decided to take a stand against the NBA player’s support for antisemitism. Jewish fans sat in the front row of a Brooklyn Nets game with ‘Fight Antisemitism’ t-shirts to protest Irving’s promotion of an antisemitic film.
