Israeli security forces drove right into Jenin to arrest a wanted Hamas member.
“Last week, Azzam al-Ahmad said PA security services were instructed by [Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud] Abbas to confront Israeli forces,” tweeted Mideast security expert Joe Truzman this week.
He added, “On Tuesday, Israeli forces drove past the PA security forces’ compound in Jenin as they sought to arrest a wanted Hamas member. Azzam’s words appear to be meaningless.”
The IDF continues to protect Israeli civilians by carrying out counter-terror operations in PA-controlled areas.
