A family of four was hit by shrapnel from a Hamas rocket. “We were all covered in blood,” the father recounted.

An Israeli family of four was wounded from shrapnel when a rocket launched by Hamas from Gaza slammed into their home in the southern city of Sderot Saturday evening.

Another rocket landed near a synagogue in the city.

The father of the family, Aharon Buchris, 52, suffered wounds to his forehead and legs. The mother, 45, was injured in the legs. A 15-year-old girl suffered injuries to her face, head and legs, and a 14-year-old girl suffered wounds to her face, legs and back of the head.

“We were all covered in blood,” the father recounted.
