A new US-Israel effort is aimed at researching PTSD in order to better care for the soldiers who risk their lives to protect us.

Each year, a good number of military veterans are diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Some become so ill that they eventually commit suicide.

A new US bill is attempting to help these vets by leveraging research from both countries to help treat this invisible illness.

U.S. Rep. Michael Waltz (R-Fla.), a military veteran himself, discusses the importance of this bill and why the Americans chose to team up with Israel on this legislation.
