Anti-Israel protesters descended on Adat Torah, a Sephardic synagogue in Los Angeles’ predominantly Orthodox Jewish Pico-Robertson neighborhood, on Sunday.
Clad in masks and keffiyehs, the protesters blocked Jewish worshipers from entering the synagogue, while LAPD allowed the demonstration and obstruction to continue.
Tensions escalated when pro-Israel counter-demonstrators and Jewish locals confronted the protesters, resulting in violent assaults by the anti-Israel group.
