A common misconception presented by enemies of Israel and the mainstream media portrays Israel as an “apartheid state”. This idea is not only false, it is completely the opposite of reality in the Holy Land.

The following video features a man who lived through the actual apartheid in South Africa, which outlawed black South Africans from having any involvement or participation in white society.

Now, if Israel is an “apartheid state,” where exactly does this take place? This second video demonstrates that the real “apartheid” has nothing to do with Israel.

‘Apartheid’ in Israel… Really?

Just as Israel exists as the only democracy in the Middle East, it also provides the only truly open society in the region. Take this example of daily life in Israel … You step onto the bus with a “Palestinian” bus driver. While sitting on the bus, you shift over so a “Palestinian” person can sit beside you. While you’re out, you stop by a pizza shop for a snack, and a “Palestinian” person stands beside you in line. You go to a school and the students represent a mix of Israelis, as well as, Arabs who consider themselves “Palestinians”.

A Muslim family can go for a stroll through a Jewish neighborhood. They can go anywhere in the country. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Jews. A Jewish family taking a walk through an Arab neighborhood takes a great risk of being assaulted or even killed. Such grim stories of Arab aggression towards Jews headline the Israeli news with regularity telling how Jewish citizens wound up in Arab neighborhoods and barely made it out alive.

In the Middle East only Israel provides a place for Muslims, Christians and Jews to live and work together. Arabs in Israel serve as judges, police officers, doctors, entrepreneurs and play important roles in society. Are Jews offered the same tolerance and opportunities in Jordan, Saudi Arabia and other “modern” countries in the region? No they are not.
