Palestinian terrorists carried out four separate stabbing attacks on Thursday targeting Israelis across the country. The incidents occurred in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Kiryat Arba and Afula. There were also a number of rock-throwing attacks and attempted stabbings on the same day.

The first attack of the day took place in Jerusalem on Bar Lev Boulevard, one of the city’s largest thoroughfares. Shortly after noon, 19-year-old Subhi Abu Khalifa of Shuafat stabbed a 25-year-old repeatedly in the upper half of his body. The victim was taken in serious condition to Shaarei Tzedek Medical Center.

Later that afternoon, in Tel Aviv, 19-year-old Tair Abu Gazala of Jerusalem stabbed an IDF soldier with a screwdriver and attempted to steal her service rifle. The stabbing took place at Menachem Begin St. and Mozes St., across from the IDF’s headquarters and the Azrieli Mall. Bystanders gave chase, and Abu Gazala was shot and killed on the Mozes Bridge by an Air Force officer, Sec. Lt. Daniel, but not before stabbing four other Israelis.

In Kiryat Arba, near Hebron, a Palestinian stabbed a 25-year-old Israeli, leaving him in serious condition.

The fourth attack of the day targeted a 21-year-old IDF soldier in Afula. The Shin Bet identified the assailant as Tarak Yahya, 20, from Jenin.
