A second terrorist attack in one day struck Israel, killing a 25-year old woman and leaving two other civilians with light to moderate wounds.
In Alon Shvut, a Jewish community in Judea and Samaria, a terrorist, after trying to run over pedestrians at a bus stop – the latest form of violence used by Arab terrorists in Israel in what many are referring to as the Third Intifada – exited his car and stabbed a 25-year-old woman to death. He then moved on to stab two male civilians, causing moderate injuries.
Police reports indicate that a guard on duty shot the terrorist, .
The attack happened in the late afternoon in the same place where three teenage boys – Eyal Yifrach, Naftali Frankel and Gilad Sha’ar – were kidnapped last summer by Hamas terrorists before they were murdered.
It was the second stabbing attack in one day. Earlier, in Tel Aviv, a 20-year-old IDF soldier was stabbed near the central bus station. He remains in critical condition.
Terrorist a Released Prisoner
The terrorist, Maher al-Hashlamun of Hebron, belongs to Islamic Jihad and was among other terrorists released from an Israeli jail in a prisoner exchange, initial reports say.
The terrorist who committed the Tel Aviv attack is Nur al-Din Abu Hashiya, an 18-year-old from Shechem (Nablus), who had illegally entered Israeli-controlled territory.
