Great news about Jerusalem Maps! Google Maps Street View will soon include towns and cities in Judea and Samaria and all of Jerusalem.
The Yisrael Hayom newspaper reported that Google vehicles have been seen in numerous towns in Judea and Samaria (“the West Bank”). The vehicles include equipment used for Street View maps.
Street View is a remarkable feature of Google Maps which allows users to see what any place on the map looks like from the ground.
Google began including Street View in its Israeli Google Maps program in April. They began with Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Haifa.
The inclusion of cities and towns in Judea and Samaria where hundreds of thousands of Israelis live in a mapping program used internationally is a significant development in recognizing the absolute reality that these so called “occupied territories” are integral parts of the State of Israel. This will also enable people throughout the world to see that larger “settlements” are actually significant and thriving cities.
