: Terrorists north of the Israeli border fired a Katyusha rocket at Israel but it failed to reach Israel and instead injured a Lebanese woman.
The attack was staged from the area of Bint Jbil, where Hizbullah terrorists and the IDF fought a bloody battle in the Second Lebanon War in the summer of 2006.
The attempted attack on Israel was the second in two weeks, and terrorists apparently not directly connected with Hizbullah took responsibility for the rocket firings.
The Abdullah Azzam Brigade terrorist group, allied with Al Qaeda, said it was behind the Katyusha missile attack as well as the firing of approximately four rockets at Israeli territory two weeks ago. Two people were wounded in the strikes, and the IDF returned fire.
Abdullah Azzam also took responsibility for the missile attacks on Israel in 2009, the last attacks until the latest spate.
However, border tension has continued the past two years. The Hizbullah terrorist army went on high alert several weeks ago, and there have been clashes and attempted infiltrations into Israel during protests on the anniversary of the declaration of Israel as a country.
