Palestinian terrorists continued to attack innocent Israeli civilians throughout the country on Wednesday, wreaking havoc and spreading fear.

The wave of Palestinian terror continued Wednesday afternoon and evening, striking at Israel’s civilian population across the country.

In the latest incident, one of a number of stabbing attacks that have shaken the country, a Palestinian terrorist from Hebron stabbed and moderately wounded an Israeli man, 25, outside a large mall in Petah Tikvah in central Israel as he was waiting for a bus.

Civilians apprehended the terrorist and police detained him soon after.

Later in the evening, a Palestinian terrorist drove his car into the A-Za’im checkpoint near Ma’ale Adumim, just east of the capital. Police forces opened fire on the terrorist, moderately wounding him. He was taken to an Israeli hospital for treatment.

Israeli police spokeswoman Luba Samri said the officer who fired at the terrorist was in real life-threatening danger when he shot at the terrorist. No Israeli security personnel were wounded in the attack, but two civilians were treated for shock.

These incidents follow a series of terror attacks across Israel that have prompted the security services to raise their level of alertness.

Two stabbing attacks occurred earlier in the day.

In Jerusalem, a Palestinian female terrorist stabbed and moderately wounded an Israeli in the Old City, who shot and wounded her. In southern Israel, a terrorist attacked an IDF soldier and grabbed his weapon. He was shot and killed by police shortly after.

Earlier on Wednesday, an Israeli woman was beaten and only narrowly escaped being lynched by a Palestinian mob as she was driving to Jerusalem.

Arabs continued rioted throughout Israel, including in the cities of Lod and in the city of Jaffa, just minutes from the heart of Tel Aviv.

Victory Through ‘Determination, Responsibility and Unity’

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a discussion and assessment of the precarious security situation on Wednesday at the Israel Police Jerusalem District command center, along with Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan, Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Chairman Tzachi Hanegbi, Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat, Israel Police Acting Commissioner Bentzi Sau and Israel Police Jerusalem District Commander Moshe Edri.

Netanyahu commended the security forces for their efforts. “They are doing exceptional, courageous work, and are showing dedication and sacrifice,” he said.

“We are still in the midst of a wave of terrorism. We are taking strong action against the terrorists, rioters and inciters. We have boosted our forces and are using all necessary means and methods in the fight against this terrorism,” the premier declared.

As the “civilians are at the forefront of the war against terrorism,” they “must also be on maximum alert,” he said.

“The goal of terrorism is to sow fear and the first order in defeating terrorism is to be level-headed and resilient, both nationally and personally. We have known worse times than this and we will also overcome this wave of terrorism with determination, responsibility and unity,” he concluded.
