Givat Assaf Terror Attack

During 20-year-old Shira Sabag’s recovery from a terror attack, a chance discovery saved her life!

Twenty-year-old Shira Sabag was standing at the Givat Assaf junction on the way home to her nearby town of Beit El in the Binyamin region of Samaria when a terrorist struck, shooting her in the pelvis and the knee, seriously wounding her.

Two IDF soldiers were killed in the attack.

While recovery is a long process for all seriously injured victims, Shira’s case is unusual. During the course of recovery, she received more bad news that ended up saving her life!

What an amazing story!
