While most kids go to summer camp to create new friendships, play, and thrive, Palestinian youth have a very different experience.

The Palestinian Authority’s Awda TV reported on August 7, 2023, that the Fatah-run summer camp in Hebron involved military training from instructors in Palestinian Authority uniforms and chants about Palestine’s “liberation.”

It is highly disturbing to watch what is happening to these innocent children, in violation of international humanitarian law, and it is a tragedy that the international community ignores it.
