A nurse who publicly refers to Jews as “vermin” is now using GoFundMe to raise money for her legal defense — and the platform is letting it happen.
Camesha Hart, a registered nurse at Oregon Health and Science University Hospital in Portland, has come under investigation after posting a series of vile antisemitic messages on social media.
She openly stated that she would not treat Jewish patients, writing, “I’m not a vet.” In another disturbing post, she expressed support for Hamas’s October 7th massacre, claiming an Israeli mother murdered alongside her two children was “fair game.”

This is not just hate speech — it is a threat to Jewish lives!
Despite widespread outrage and formal investigations by her employer and the Oregon Board of Nursing, Hart is using GoFundMe to raise money for a legal team, positioning herself as the victim of “online bullies.”
Her campaign is not only deceitful, it is dangerous. By allowing it to remain online, GoFundMe is legitimizing and enabling hate.
GoFundMe’s Terms of Service explicitly ban the promotion of hate, harassment, and dishonesty. Hart’s campaign violates all of these.
A platform that claims to be about “people helping people” cannot allow fundraising for individuals who dehumanize entire communities and support terror.
We must act now. GoFundMe has a responsibility to uphold its own standards and remove this fundraiser immediately.
