Outrage is mounting over blatantly misleading headlines from prominent outlets accusing Israel of “burning” Gaza’s Kamal Adwan hospital.

These headlines ignore critical facts, parroting unverified claims from Hamas’s so-alled “health ministry”—a known propaganda arm of the terror group.

The truth is starkly different.

The IDF targeted the hospital after discovering that Hamas was using it as a command center for military operations. Israeli forces safely evacuated patients and medical staff, even as Hamas operatives fired anti-tank missiles and RPGs at them.

Over 240 terrorists—some disguised as patients—were apprehended during the raid. Yet, these facts were buried or omitted entirely by Reuters, NBC News, and ABC News, leaving a distorted narrative to dominate headlines.

Contrary to the claims in these reports, the fire at the hospital was not caused by the IDF but likely resulted from the intense urban warfare initiated by Hamas operatives.

Hamas’s use of explosive weaponry, including RPGs and anti-tank missiles, in a civilian hospital created the conditions that led to the blaze. This crucial detail has been omitted in the media’s coverage, allowing the blame to fall squarely—and unfairly—on Israel.

Reuters referred to the suspects simply as “Palestinians,” erasing any context of Hamas’ terror activities.

NBC News’ inflammatory headline, “Israel burns northern Gaza’s last functioning hospital,” completely disregarded Israel’s evidence of Hamas’s operations inside the facility.

ABC News amplified the falsehoods by stating, “Israeli soldiers stormed and burned a hospital in Gaza,” blatantly omitting evidence of Hamas’s activities within the facility and ignoring Israel’s efforts to protect civilians.

These misleading reports fuel dangerous anti-Israel sentiment and echo Hamas propaganda, damaging the integrity of global journalism.

Such biased reporting not only undermines Israel’s right to defend its citizens but also emboldens terror organizations that use civilian infrastructure as shields.

Media outlets have a responsibility to report the truth and not spread unverified claims from a terrorist group that regularly lies to manipulate public opinion.
