The media initially expressed sympathy for Israelis but swiftly shifted their focus to criticize Israel’s actions in response to the conflict and the Gaza airstrikes against Hamas.

Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, during interviews with international media outlets, questioned why they hadn’t raised the issue of Israeli hostages in Gaza, and giving much needed attention to this humanitarian plight.

Instead, the media has predominantly concentrated on condemning Israel’s actions that it is taking to defend its people from a murderous terrorist group.
