His visit will focus on building a multilateral defensive alliance similar to the one that fended off Iran's attack against Israel in April.

Tehran has supported Hamas and 'other partners and proxies across the region' including Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthis in Yemen.

He added that Israel is in a unique position to prove that building alliances with the Jewish State will make the Middle East safer.
