As of now, leaders of foreign nations have not yet congratulated Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on his victorious sweep in the polls Tuesday.

Likud will head the new Israeli government following Tuesday’s elections, after Zionist Union leader Isaac (Boujie) Herzog conceded defeat on Wednesday morning.

Foreign leaders are remaining quiet on the elections. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest indicated that President Barack Obama “remains committed to working very closely with the winner of the ongoing elections to cement and further deepen the strong relationship between the United States and Israel, and the president is confident that he can do that with whomever the Israeli people choose.”
