A Palestinian Arab terrorist injured four Israelis on Saturday night in a vehicular assault at the junction outside the Al Fawwar camp, located near Hebron in Judea.

The terrorist initially fled the scene, before turning himself in to Israeli forces.

The Magen David Adom emergency service said a 30-year-old Israeli was seriously injured and evacuated to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba. The Israel Defense Forces later identified the victim as a soldier.

MDA said that a 45-year-old man was lightly wounded by shrapnel. The second victim escaped from the scene and was treated by medics near Otniel.

Two additional people were lightly hurt in the attack.

Earlier on Saturday, a Palestinian Arab who launched a flare at security forces was shot and neutralized by a civilian guard at the Qalandiya crossing, according to Israeli media.

The terrorist was reportedly armed with a knife and wearing a shirt with an Islamic State patch.
