A new streaming channel geared to the black community axed Farrakhan’s speech, following an outcry, but his ‘Nation of Islam’ will broadcast the address.

Apparently under pressure, Fox Soul TV, a new streaming channel geared towards the African-American community, launched by the Fox Corporation, has cancelled an address scheduled for July 4th by notorious anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan.
Fox Soul originally advertised the address – titled “The Criterion: The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan Speaks Live – on social media, but after immediate and widespread objection, the channel tweeted late Monday that the program was cancelled.
The Simon Wiesenthal Center (SWC), the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and Americans Against Antisemitism, among others, had called for the broadcast to be cancelled.
The SWC referred to the Nation of Islam leader as “a demagogue and divider at a time when all Americans need to hear messages of unity and hope.”
“We urge Fox Television Network to cancel the speech by a person who has spent his adult life spitting on everything July 4th stands for,” the group said.
“I can’t imagine this isn’t a terrible mistake by someone at Fox, because the mainstreaming of an unabashed racist and anti-Semite, the hate-filled Hitler of our time, does not ordinarily meet their standard of integrity,” former NY Assemblyman Dov Hikind, founder of Americans Against Antisemitism, stated when the broadcast was first announced.
“They’re even directing people to the Nation of Islam website,” Hikind added.
According to the ADL, “In recent years, Farrakhan has embarked on a wide-ranging campaign specifically targeting the Jewish community, a campaign that has featured some of the most hateful speeches of his tenure as head of NOI. Farrakhan has alleged that the Jewish people were responsible for the slave trade and that they conspire to control the government, the media and Hollywood, as well as various black individuals and organizations.
“He frequently denies the legitimacy of Judaism – or Jewish claim to the land of Israel — arguing that Judaism is nothing more than a ‘deceptive lie’ and a ‘theological error’ promoted by Jews to further their ‘control’ over America’s government and economy,” notes the ADL.
In one of Farrakhan’s most recent anti-Semitic controversies, he referred to Jews as “termites.”
“Farrakhan is a vile anti-LGBTQ anti-Semitic misogynist. Why is a Fox channel airing his propaganda?” CNN anchor Jake Tapper tweeted before the cancellation, to which anti-Semitic rapper and Farrakhan supporter Ice Cube replied, “Watch your mouth Jake.”
Farrakhan’s broadcast will be aired by Nation of Islam on July 4.
