Six million victims and years of historical documentation and research do not confound the anti-Semites when it comes to Holocaust denial.

A former German attorney with well-known links to the extreme right has been convicted, not for the first time, of Holocaust denial and sentenced to 20 months in prison.

Sylvia Stolz, 51, was convicted for inciting racial hatred and denying the Holocaust in a 2012 speech, AP quotes Munich state court spokeswoman Andrea Titz as saying.

Stolz reportedly stated that that the Holocaust has never been proved by a court of law, that findings on the location of the crime, method of assassination, number killed, time period of crime, perpetrators, bodies and evidence of murder are lacking, as is establishing as fact that there was Nazi intention to kill Jews.

Stolz defended her inflammatory statements during her trial by claiming that she was exercising her right to free speech.

Stolz had already served time for Holocaust denial and was banned from the practice of law for five years after a 2008 conviction related to her defense of notorious Holocaust denier Ernst Zundel, who was likewise convicted of the crime in Mannheim in 2007 and sent to prison for five years.

Stolz served as Zundel’s defense attorney, and the initial trial collapsed after she was banned from the proceedings on grounds she had been trying to sabotage them. During the trial, she repeatedly denied the Holocaust, saying it was “the biggest lie in world history.” She concluded a legal document with the words “Heil Hitler.”

The presiding judge at the Zundel trial called for Stolz’s removal for describing Jews as an “enemy people” and other offenses, Fox News reports.

She is married to jailed prisoner Horst Mahler, who is also in jail for Holocaust denial and hate speech.
