Salah Hamouri continued to engage in terror-related conduct even after serving seven years in prison.

Salah Hamouri is a human rights lawyer in the eyes of Palestinians. In Israel, however, he is a convicted terrorist who plotted to kill leading Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, among other PFLP terror activities.

Hamouri continued to engage in “his hostile, serious and major” terror-related conduct even after serving seven years in prison and being released in 2011 as part of the Gilad Shalit prisoner swap, according to Israeli authorities. He was also a member of the PFLP terror organization.

He was deported from Israel to France on Sunday after his Jerusalem residency expired.
