Israel refuses PA request to reduce electricity to Gaza
Despite Palestinian Authority requests, Israel won’t reduce its supply of electricity to Gaza over unpaid bills. Hamas closed Gaza’s power plant in April as it refuses to pay for fuel. The PA cut its payments for Israeli power to Gaza by 40% due to the PA’s dispute with Hamas.
