Caption: Israeli Navy soldiers seen on IDF (Israel Defense Force) ships, off the coast of Gaza, during Operation "Protective Edge" on July 28, 2014. The operation entered its 22nd day today, with 10 Israeli soldiers having been killed in a Hamas tunnel attack, and in a mortar attack which hit in the Southern Israeli Eshkol region yesterday. Gazan health officials put the death toll there at over 1,000, and Israel states hundreds of those killed are Hamas fighters. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the Gaza operation would go on until the tunnel threat was stopped.
