Longtime NBA player Patrick Beverley has signed a two-year deal with Hapoel Tel Aviv.

“They gave me everything I asked for,” Beverley said. “I couldn’t refuse.”

The three-time NBA All-Defensive Team member split the 2023-24 season with the Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks. He averaged 6.0 points, 2.6 assists and 3.6 rebounds in 26 games with the Bucks, according to Bleacher Report.

“This is a very exciting day. Patrick Beverley is joining the Hapoel Tel Aviv family. I want to thank the owners and all the management who made this happen, and of course thank Patrick as well, who during the meetings with us showed great respect for the club,” said Hapoel general manager George Chinas.

“Patrick is very enthusiastic about the move, he is very hungry and ready to prove and fight for the club and the fans,” added Chinas.

During his NBA career, Beverley also played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Terms of the contract with Hapoel were not disclosed, although Beverley recently said that he was deciding between an NBA veteran minimum deal and a “historic” one in Europe.

The veteran minimum for a 12-year NBA player is $3.3 million per season, according to Spotrac.
