Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Secretary of State John Kerry before concluding a three-day visit to the US and returning to Israel.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Secretary of State John Kerry on Wednesday evening to discuss ways of lowering the level of violence that has been plaguing Israel over the past two months. Likewise, the two discussed methods of improving conditions for Palestinians living in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, and ways to advance the diplomatic process with the Palestinians.
The State Department stated that the meeting was “constructive.”
Special Envoy Frank Lowenstein will be traveling with a team to Israel in the coming days to continue the discussion and further develop these ideas, the State Department announced.
Netanyahu and his wife Sara boarded an Israel-bound flight in Washington on Thursday, concluding a three-day visit to the US, during which he held meetings with President Barack Obama and Kerry and addressed prestigious American and Jewish forums.
