Israel’s security forces continued their relentless fight to combat Palestinian terrorism throughout the country.

Palestinian terrorists in Gaza recently attempted to harm IDF forces and Israeli citizens by flying a drone wired with an explosive charge into Israel territory.
The drone infiltrated Israeli airspace and landed, but did not explode or cause any injuries or damage.
The IDF stated Monday that “a few days ago, during the night, a drone that was estimated to have flown from the northern Gaza Strip crossed into Israeli territory and fell in the Sha’ar Ha’Negev municipality area. After an examination, explosives were found on the drone.”
This new form of terrorism joins the daily mass blazes caused by “fire-kites” and “fire balloons” flown by Palestinian terrorists into Israeli territory, which have burned thousands of acres of agricultural fields and greenery surrounding the Gaza area.
In related news, Palestinian terrorists detonated an explosive charge near an IDF post at the entrance to the city of Shechem (Nablus) in Samaria on Sunday night. No Israeli soldiers were injured.
IDF forces carried out counter-terrorism operations throughout Judea and Samaria on Sunday night, arresting 11 Palestinians linked to terrorism.
Israeli forces operating in the city of Hebron discovered and confiscated a Carlo submachine gun.
Troops operating near the Palestinian village of Beit Anoun, in the same area, stopped a suspicious car and found several firebombs ready for use. The suspect was arrested and taken for questioning.
Israel’s 0404 News reported that an Israeli woman was targeted in Jerusalem’s Old City on Sunday night by a firecracker launched at her by a terrorist.
The woman, who was walking with her husband, was lightly injured on her hand but did not require extensive medical treatment. The terrorist is still at large, and Israeli forces have launched a manhunt.
