Caption: Israeli soldiers patrol in the settlement of Metulla, in the background, while a Lebanese goat farmer herds his flock on the other side of the Lebanese-Israeli border, in the village of Kfar Kila, southern Lebanon, Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005. A mortar shell fired from Lebanon landed in a northern Israeli town on Thursday, Israeli and Lebanese officials said. Israeli police said the shell landed on a chicken coop in the town of Margaliot, killing several animals. There were no other reports of damage or injuries. A spokesman for the U.N. peacekeeping forces in Lebanon, Milos Struger, called on both sides to "exercise restraint." He said the forces had launched an investigation. (AP Photo/Mohammad Zaatari)
