Sirens Sound Ahead of UWI Interview on Canadian TV

“People in Israel are tired of continuously being on the receiving end of rockets,” UWI Executive Director David Zeit declared on Canadian national TV.

Just prior to the interview, which took place on Thursday, July 10, the air raid siren went off in Bet Shemesh, where UWI’s offices are located.

A day earlier, Zeit was visiting the south, where people have been bearing the brunt of the attacks from Gaza, to deliver a new bomb shelter courtesy UWI donors.

Addressing Canadians, Zeit eloquently discusses on the situation in Israel, the U.S. funding of the Palestinian Authority and Israel’s relationship with Canada.
