Fusako Shigenobu is a co-founder of the Japanese Red Army (JRA) that was responsible for the 1972 massacre at Israel's Lod airport. Shockingly, Shigenobu was released from a Tokyo jail on Saturday after serving a mere 20-year term.
In 1972, members of the Japanese Red Army recruited by the Palestinian Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine terrorist group attacked travelers at Israel's Lod Airport, killing 24 and wounding 70. Recently, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' party, Fatah, praised the attack in a Facebook post.
