Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas urged the International Criminal Court (ICC) to “expedite” a probe into allegations of Israeli abuses and war crimes.

The French are reportedly backing down from plans to force Israel into making concessions to the Palestinians which would endanger its security.
