Fu'ad Shukr was responsible for a Hezbollah rocket attack that killed 12 children in Majdal Shams and the 1983 bombing of US Marine barracks in Beirut.

Fu'ad Shukr was a senior advisor to Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah and planned the deadly Majdal Shams and 1983 Beirut attacks.

Iran rejected a US court ruling that victims of Iranian-backed terrorism can seize Iranian funds, calling it "the theft of the assets and properties of the Islamic Republic of Iran."

Sending a message to Iran that it will bear the consequences of its support of global terrorism, the US Supreme Court ruled that victims of Iran-sponsored terror can collect compensation in $2 billion from frozen Iranian funds.
