'And Abram heard that his kinsman had been taken captive, and he armed his trained men, those born in his house, three hundred and eighteen, and he pursued [them] until Dan.' (Genesis: 14:14)
The message in this week's Torah portion is to stand up for what’s right. We have to look inwards, not outwards, for strength, inspiration and direction.
It is within our reach to nurture the character traits of Abraham in our lives, and with it we will become happier people, more respected people, and our deeds will cause others to remember us for good.
If God endows us with certain talents and abilities, it means that He expects us to use them properly. God made you the way you are because He believes in you!
