The emotional meeting at a South Carolina airport was made possible through the power of genetic science and DNA testing.

Tel Aviv University researchers found that 'junk DNA' has managed to survive due to its proximity to functional areas. 

The research team, of over 30 scientists, included Hebrew University doctoral student Shamam Waldman, who performed most of the data analysis.

'This attack scenario underscores the need to harden the synthetic DNA supply chain with protections against cyber-biological threats,' said a leading Israeli cyber expert.
