We must go out of our way and to do anything we can to avoid embarrassing another human being. That should be among the highest priorities of God-fearing people.
It's a mitzvah to invite the poor to our tables, and it applies to every holiday. Why, then, is it only on Passover that we recite a 'declaration' of an 'open door'?
If the Torah goes out of its way to find something nice to say about non-kosher animals, how much more so should we go out of our way to find something nice to say about all human beings.
