Azerbaijan has relatively warm relations with Israel, which include oil supplies to the Jewish state from Azerbaijan and military aid to Azerbaijan from Israel.
Azerbaijan, a predominantly Muslim country, welcomes economic and cultural exchanges with the Jewish state, including the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra's recent performances there.
