U.S. policy on labeling 'Israeli settlement' products, referring to those produced in Judea and Samaria, has not changed, the State Department confirmed, adding that it does not represent a boycott.
Following his decision to take punitive measures against the EU for labeling products from Judea and Samaria, Netanyahu is refusing to meet with the Belgian foreign minister, who has now postponed his visit.
According to German ambassador to Israel Clemens Von Goetze, the EU’s initiative to mark products originating in Judea and Samaria is merely a technical step. Most Israelis are not convinced.
